Iain Grinbergs makes Turn & Work’s Oct ‘26 shortlist

Turn & Work’s guest editor Kelli Dianne Rule selected Iain Grinbergs’s prose poem “What the Cattle Knew,” published by elsewhere, for its Oct 8, 2026, shortlist. Turn & Work’s editor said, “A prose poem filled with sadness and truly unique phrases. Grinbergs writes in a way that demands you slow right down. I read this one out loud.”
