Iain Grinbergs (he/they) is a professor, painter, and writer. He earned his Ph.D. in English from Florida State University.

He was a finalist in Black Lawrence Press’s Fall 2021 Black River Chapbook Competition, a semifinalist in Conduit Magazine’s 2022 Marystina Santiestevan First Book Prize, and a runner-up in the 2023 Tennessee Williams and New Orleans Literary Festival’s Saints and Sinners Poetry Contest.

In 2024, Bottlecap Press published Vanity Twist, his first poetry collection. His work appears in or is forthcoming from Rogue Agent, South Florida Poetry Journal, Meridian, dadakuku, FlashFlood, Ghost Parachute, Jersey Devil Press, The Pegasus Review: A Medical Literary Journal, The Daily Drunk: Pop Culture That Pops, Eunoia Review, and other journals.
