Iain Grinbergs (he/they) is a professor, painter, and writer. He earned his Ph.D. in English from Florida State University.

He was a finalist in Black Lawrence Press’s Fall 2021 Black River Chapbook Competition, a semifinalist in Conduit Magazine’s 2022 Marystina Santiestevan First Book Prize, and a runner-up in the 2023 Tennessee Williams and New Orleans Literary Festival’s Saints and Sinners Poetry Contest.

In 2024, Bottlecap Press published Vanity Twist, his first chapbook. His work appears in or is forthcoming from Sho Poetry Journal, South Florida Poetry Journal, Meridian, Rogue Agent, Screen Door Review, Beaver Magazine, Jersey Devil Press, The Dewdrop, Hotch Potch, Ghost Parachute, FlashFlood, 50-Word Stories, The Pegasus Review: A Medical Literary Journal, and other journals.
